Student Conduct and Community Standards
The Student Code of Conduct
At Rollins College, we believe that education extends beyond the classroom. Our community is built on a foundation of intellectual achievement, personal growth, and social responsibility. The Student Code of Conduct plays a vital part of this educational experience by supporting students in developing values that guide responsible decision-making and ethical leadership.
Student Conduct and Community Standards (SCCS) advances the mission and vision of Rollins College by fostering a safe, inclusive, and values-driven environment. Through meaningful engagement and intentional educational opportunities, SCCS encourages students to reflect on their actions, take personal responsibility, and grow as ethical citizens in a diverse global society.
The Student Code of Conduct exists to uphold standards that promote the academic, emotional, social, and professional development of our students, while ensuring the welfare of the broader campus community. It is not just a set of rules—it is a commitment to living with integrity, engaging with respect, and contributing to a vibrant and caring campus culture.

Student Conduct & Community Standards (SCCS) supports students in navigating their college experience with integrity, accountability, and care. When students face challenges, we help them turn those experiences into meaningful growth by offering support that’s thoughtful, respectful, and values-driven.
Through restorative practices, educational conversations, and a commitment to personal and community accountability, SCCS helps students:
- Reflect on their choices and understand their impact
- Strengthen their personal and community values
- Develop skills for ethical leadership and responsible citizenship
- Engage meaningfully in a diverse and inclusive campus community
Our goal is to foster a fair and just environment where students feel supported, empowered, and equipped to thrive at Rollins and beyond.
