Founded in 1962, AUP is an internationally renowned liberal arts university with a focus on preparing its students for global careers. The campus is within close walking distance to the Eiffel Tower and other monuments and cultural attractions.

Courses
- All students must take one French language course AND a core France-related course.
- With the exception of language courses, classes are taught in English.
- Many courses involve activities outside of the classroom and in the urban environment of Paris.
- AUP is an excellent fit for many majors at Rollins.

Housing & Meals
- Students will live in shared apartments in residential areas of Paris close to the metro and approximately 40 minutes by metro from the AUP campus.
- Housing is located in non-touristy neighborhoods that reflect the diversity of Paris.
- Apartments have fully equipped kitchens and include bed linens, on-site washing machine, high-speed Wi-Fi, utilities allowance, property insurance, and on-call maintenance.
- Students can buy groceries and cook in their apartments, as there is no meal plan. Cheap Eats Out and Easy Make-it-Yourself Meals
- There are many restaurants and cafes within walking distance of the campus.
Student Life
- AUP offers competitive and recreational sports, student clubs and organizations, volunteer opportunities, and an SGA.
- Discounted memberships at local gyms are available to students.
- Many courses at AUP include a component of learning outside the classroom.
- AUP runs a cultural program which organizes faculty-led study trips associated with courses and cultural excursions. Recent cultural excursion destinations include Disneyland Paris, Burgundy, Champagne, Normandy, Barcelona, and the Loire Valley. These excursions come at an additional cost.

Scholarships
Scholarships based on financial need are available to off-set costs associated with international airfare and other costs associated with study abroad. Students can apply for scholarships through the Rollins program application.

Living and Working
Having a credit card while abroad is very helpful. France has a comparable cost of living to the United States though since Paris is a large city, costs will be higher than in Central FL. Students are able to work part-time on a student visa while in France.
